An experienced senior leader, Chris has designed and led training sessions for many years, focused on plain English communication, delivering 'quality quickly' and ensuring customers receive the best possible experience through various communication channels, including email, live chat and telephone.
Chris can bring proven expertise, opinions and insight to your business. He brings a long and varied experience in business management. This includes experience of business transformation through implementation of the Zendesk support ticket system, live chat and VOIP phone systems, support delivery improvement and business continuity planning and leadership.
Following a successful career in sales and branch management in the timber and builders merchant sector, Chris moved into the technology sector in 2003. He was rapidly promoted to UK Customer Service Manager with a German consumer electronics company, leading a large team of agents in a high pressure contact centre providing technical and warranty support.
In 2007, Chris moved to BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, serving for 10 years, culminating in his role as Head of/Director of Customer Service as a member of the senior management team (SMT).
Under Chris' leadership, his loyal and empowered BCS team's customer satisfaction rating consistently exceeded 92% (even higher if you discount negative scores that related to dissatisfaction the wider company policies)
